Lyla Turns One

One of my favorite sessions. The kind of session that makes me smile ear to ear while editing because the images are so stinkin’ cute. These adorable girls are always camera ready whenever I show up and really do keep me and their mama laughing the entire time. To their mom Zyda, thank you so much for supporting me from day one and trusting me to capture your girl. I’m already counting the days until Christmas for your family portraits!

Zyda - As always, such an amazing job! I can’t stop looking at these pictures. Thanks you Renee! You are very talented.

Dana’s Five Minute Bridals

Knowing that I do not shoot weddings Dana and her family asked if I could at least capture a few bridal shots on her big day. I kid you not when I say these bridal portraits were done in five minutes and moments before she walked down the beach to marry her best friend. Congratulations Dana and Chris. May God bless you and your marriage for years to come!

Kathleen

Kathleen is graduating this year from Agua Dulce High School. She said ever since she saw my work last year with the seniors of 2012 she wanted to work with me. If that doesn’t flatter you then I don’t know what will.

The new Renee Alexandra Photography

New Logo

Here it is. The new look of Renee Alexandra Photography. Ever since I officially went into business in 2011 I knew I wanted update my previous logo with something more polished. I just didn’t know exactly where I was going to find it. I did know that I wanted something retro and modern and clean, so I was over the moon when I came across Aviary Creative on ETSY and was able to have this OOAK logo without dropping half a years salary. As great as professional designers are they are also extremely pricey.  My new logo is clean, no embellishments or distracting graphics. I honestly think it grabs more attention this way. The first word that comes to mind when I look at it is ‘dapper’.

And as you probably noticed reneealexandra.com got a little face lift as well. It is now easier to navigate and the contact drop down link makes it easier to get a hold of me. Now, as much as I’d like to write more on this I can’t. My eyes have gone Rango style on me after trying to get every tiny detail finished over the past five days (so please forgive any and all possible typos as well). Please, take a look around the new space and enjoy the new Renee Alexandra Photography.

Riley Family

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing the Riley Family  during the final weeks of summer. Kenny and Sandra Riley have been close family friends for years, so when Sandra asked me to capture her amazing (and growing!) family I was more than happy to oblige. The Riley family consist of three daughters, four sons, one daughter in law, and two adorable grandsons. Wow!
