Generations

One of my favorite sessions. This shoot was extremely sentimental to not only my clients, but to me as well. Jenny contacted me and asked me to photograph her kids with her grandparents belongings out on their old ranch. I practically shouted YES. But then I became a little nervous, I wanted everything to be perfect, because I grew up on this ranch too. Jenny’s grandparents, Momo and Popo, were like my grandparents. All of Jenny’s cousins were like my cousins. I really, really, wanted everything to be perfect. And it was. From the lighting to the family items we used, these images are some of my best and favorite to date.

It’s A Girl!

So I’m finally updating my blog with a new post after a year (yes, a year!) of neglecting it. Correction, not neglecting, a year of being caught up in other things and just letting the blog sit on the back burner for a while. Sorry about that.

But here is Alyssa’s gender reveal we shot in May and good grief is she one cute expecting mama. The definition of glowing.

Lyla Turns One

One of my favorite sessions. The kind of session that makes me smile ear to ear while editing because the images are so stinkin’ cute. These adorable girls are always camera ready whenever I show up and really do keep me and their mama laughing the entire time. To their mom Zyda, thank you so much for supporting me from day one and trusting me to capture your girls. I’m already counting the days until Christmas for your family portraits!

Zyda - As always, such an amazing job! I can’t stop looking at these pictures. Thanks you Renee! You are very talented.

Dana’s Five Minute Bridals

Knowing that I do not shoot weddings Dana and her family asked if I could at least capture a few bridal shots on her big day. I kid you not when I say these bridal portraits were done in five minutes and moments before she walked down the beach to marry her best friend. Congratulations Dana and Chris. May God bless you and your marriage for years to come!

Kathleen

Kathleen is graduating this year from Agua Dulce High School. She said ever since she saw my work last year with the seniors of 2012 she wanted to work with me. If that doesn’t flatter you then I don’t know what will.
